There’s no perfect way to love someone. There are no perfect words to make someone stay, or to make them love you just the way you love them. For some, love is like an ocean and they have to keep swimming or else they lose everything, for others it’s the little things in life, for others love is nothing but silence and for a few, their beloved is etched in papers as poetry. Some fight wars to prove their love, while others fight with themselves to keep that love alive in their hearts. Sometimes Everyone wants to win in love, but we forget that not all stories are made of good endings. Some stories end with silence, some end in laughter and love filling the air, some end in cries and sorrow that could suffocate you. Sometimes you don’t get to end up with the person you thought you’d grow with. Sometimes you lose in the simplest battles because you’re too proud to let someone know that they are your soulmate, that without them, nothing makes sense. Sometimes you get to have that happy ending and it’s really beautiful. As much as you’re trying to love someone, you have to nourish yourself too. Love isn’t a war you have to fight to keep it alive. Love is beautiful when you get to be loved the way you love. Love is fulfilling when you get to come home to the person you don’t mind spending all of your evenings with. I mean, we all have that one person who means everything to us, someone whose voice makes everything else background noise because they are the one. When you find your person, I hope you recognize them, I hope you accept them. And above all, I hope you get to be loved the way you give love.
